The technology is based on the compilation of various water treatment units and involves the preparation of potable degree water. As a rule, the compilation includes three units: pre-treatment, concentration in the Exerger™ unit and additional vaporization to produce the final product. The pre-treatment unit allows reducing the content of hardness salts for reliable operation of the concentration unit. The concentration unit is based on the Emerger™ product with the changes introduced for a more efficient operation together with the pre-vaporization unit due to the use of steam generated at the Exerger™ stages and partial removal of salts from the circulating water. The pre-vaporization unit is configured depending on the customer’s specifications to the final product and may be completed to obtain a liquid concentrate, wet or dry salt, including an option of separation into components.
An integrated approach to the development of individual units contributes to achieving the lowest energy consumption and avoiding the use of expensive and dangerous reagents. The unit is equipped with all required auxiliary equipment to ensure fully automated operation without maintenance staff engagement. Maintenance of the unit does not require special staff qualification. There is enough experience in servicing heat exchangers.
