We received a new invention patent

“Method for treating wastewater from coke production” has been patented. It allows the coke oven gas condensate to be processed in a thermal desalting unit to produce a high-quality distillate suitable for reuse in production.

For the team, this was truly a large-scale work over 2 years:

• technology development,
• design and manufacture of a pilot unit,
• carrying out pilot tests,
• analysis and synthesis of results.

“The patent protects our technology for the treatment of wastewater from coke and chemical production of the country's ferrous metallurgy. This document adequately completes the work of the team in preparing and conducting large-scale pilot tests at the end of 2022 at the industrial site of the largest coke production plant in the region,” said Alexander Nevolin, head of the scientific department of ReinnolC.
