We entered the Rosatom's supplier development program
We are aligning our business processes to strengthen our position in the list of reliable suppliers for the nuclear industry enterprises.
With the help of supervisors from the Leningrad and Rostov NPPs, we began to create an optimal workflow for estimating the cost and timing of projects for the production of equipment of safety classes 2 and 3. This work is far from easy, but it is essential.
“The production of class equipment for the nuclear industry is a crucial project subject to a large database of regulatory documents and detailed quality plans. In order to foresee and avoid losses in production planning and in the manufacturing process itself, the customer’s feedback is very important to us. Therefore, the supplier development program is an extremely useful project for us,” said Quality Director Nikolai Romanovsky.
“If the supplier company uses lean manufacturing approaches and tools in its work, this guarantees that the nuclear power plant will receive the order on time, in full and of the required quality, which will allow them to achieve their own goals and objectives. Therefore, we are interested in the development of suppliers outside the framework of the Rosatom State Corporation and we are ready to transfer our experience and help to form a system of continuous improvements and integrate it into the enterprise management system,” explained Denis Loginov and Anna Chucha, representatives of the program curator - the Production System Development Department “Rosatom" at the Leningrad NPP.
The supplier development program is designed for 3 years and involves the development of the company’s business processes according to the recommendations of Rosatom experts. This will help our company build a competent system for the production of class equipment.
