The first batch of waste treatment equipment was shipped

The heaters, tank and evaporator were sent to a large enterprise in the Sverdlovsk region, where the modernization of a drainless water consumption scheme is underway.

This is an important project for us because we are developing the technology created by our Ural engineers and also because we are making the region more eco-friendly.

The Sverdlovsk region is a pioneer in the implementation of waste-free technologies. The first water circulation with zero liquid discharge was launched at the metallurgical production of the Sverdlovsk region 50 years ago - in 1973!

The development was considered successful, the authors were given a state award, and the technology has been used repeatedly at various enterprises all over the country.

It’s time for modernization, and we are honored to take part in this process. While 50 years ago engineers had the task just to get rid of liquid waste, now we are talking about improving the quality of recycled water and saving resources.

Our multi-stage thermal distillation technology effectively copes with these challenges. The flash evaporator concentrates the effluent and separates the distillate from it while using a minimal amount of steam.

“The technology for thermal wastewater treatment has great potential not only from the point of view of saving resources. It is also promising for obtaining the useful final products, so we continue to explore its capabilities,” said Evgeniy Kopylov, head of the water technology development department.
